Transfer Adobe Programs to Another Computer

I bought Photoshop CS6 in high school and Illustrator CS6 in college and installed it on my old laptop which had Windows 7. I got a new laptop with Windows 8 and don't have the income to pay for the Cloud. If I uninstall both programs on my old laptop and reinstall them on my new one, will that work? Is there a way to just move the programs from one laptop to another without having to buy the Cloud?
