Hello,
I wanted to know if adobe CS6 is compatible wit windows 10? If yes is it with a workaround or any fix? thank you in advance.

Bonjour,
J'aimerai savoir si adobe CS6 est compatible avec windows 10? Si oui y'a-t-il un fix? merci d'avance.
So I recieved my CS5 Web Premium in the mail the other day, and have thus far been completely unable to install anything.
Here's the lines of offending code for me:
Application Context:Global, Assembly Name:Microsoft.VC90.CRT,version="9.0.30729.4137",publicKeyToken="1fc8b3b9a1e18e3b",proces sorArchitecture="x86",type="win32"

This seems to be a recurring problem around here. Following discussions on this forum and trying different things indicates this has to do with Visual C++ Redist 2005 or 2008.
In my case it's 2008. Trying to install it on its own produces an Error 1935 instance. Looking more widely around for info on 1935 errors hasn't produced much. the few documented cases i can find on forums have all ended in dead ends.
I'm looking to move up to Windows 7 from my Vista 64 Ultimate in hopes that will do the trick. In the meantime, if any body else with this issue wants to add any thoughts or potential leads, let's use this post to get to the bottom of this together.
Yeah, Adobe got a little too big for their britches with this release, maybe, but the great thing about Adobe and their products is the community around it. Lets leverage that and see what we can do.
Last week I uprgaded from Win XP to a clean install of Win 7 Pro 9 (with IE8). Obviously, I also did a clean install of my CS4 Design Premium. After the CS4 install, an 'error message' window briefly pops up reporting an issue with logtransport2.exe. That error message occurs periodically when I close out a CS4 program, especially Acrobat 9; when I restart or shut down the PC; and after I installed Premiere Elements 8. The file logtransport2.exe is definitely and uniquely associated with Adobe software. Upon performing a Windows search of C Drive, logtransport2.exe appeared in the program folder for each CS4 app and Reader 9.3.
Adobe Support in India offered two solutions that did not work. The first was to uninstall Reader and not reinstall. The second was to uninstall CS4, use the Adobe CS4 Clean Script (clean-up utility), and reinstall CS4. Unfortunately, the error message about logtransport2.exe still appears after both 'fixes' were employed. Adobe Support of India is now stumped and can offer no further guidance.
The error has not caused any noticeable problems with the operation of my PC or function of CS4 apps. The error message appears and disappears within 2 seconds. So, it is more of an annoyance. Even so, it is disconcerting to have this error message appear frequently, especially whenever shutting down or restarting my PC.
Does anyone know what causes the error message?
Can anybody offer a fix?
I thank everyone who offers a solution or reply.
I updated the CS5 suite the other day and all the updates installed fine, except adobe media encoder which said "done with errors" (no indication of what the errors were mind you).
Now, when I open Adobe Media Encoder (CS5) it pops up saying "Adobe Media Encoder components have different versions. Please update Adobe Media Encoder."
This is the 32 bit v of CS5 (so no Premiere or AE) but Adobe Media Encoder is still used to encode flv etc for the web (Flash and Dreamweaver).
The CS4 suite version of Adobe Media Encoder (that does have Premiere and AE) works the same as always. Has anyone else noticed this?
Some of the "skins" for the FLVPlayback component cannot be used as delivered in the Flash Professional CS5 package.
For instance, if you try simply to run the .swf file: MinimaSilverPlayBackSeekCounterVolMuteFull.swf in Program Files/Adobe/Adobe Flash CS5/Common/Configuration/FLVPlayback skins/ActionScript 3.0, you get the following error message:
VerifyError: Error #1014: Class fl.video::UIManager could not be found.
Such a skin cannot be used in a published application (though it will work within the Flash IDE in Test mode).
Not all the skins have this problem. However, at least all of the Minima prefixed ones do. Of course the one I wish to use is broken. Is there a way I can fix this? If I try to publish the corresponding .fla (in FLVPlayback skins/FLA/Action Script 3.0 I get "Warning: unable to load SWC FLVPlaybackAS2.swc".
I want to setup a stand (for example in a shopping centre) where I can give the opportunity for people to star in their own movie and they will get a DVD straight after them being filmed.
Below is an example of what I mean:
There is a green screen with a toy car, big enough for a child to sit infront of the screen. A parent pays me for their child to star in their own movie. The child sits in the car for 3 minutes playing with the steering wheel and pretending to be in a race. This 3 minutes is recorded on a video camera, as well as the green screen being chromakeyed out showing the child in a race on a big TV that draws the crowds. Straight afterwards the customer is given a DVD of their movie.
further spec needed:
I want high definition footage for the Movie on DVD
I want to be able to record this footage as it is being shot - 4-5minutes from when the child sits in the car to getting the DVD as to maximise income/hour.
I am wanting to know which software of the Production Premium CS 5.5 software will stream it live to the TV and record it on the DVD on the computer - I know that I can stream it to the TV and use a DVD Recorder to tape whats on the TV, but apparently that is unreliable.
Hello:
Pretty new here, so if this belongs somewhere else (Acrobat forum?), please feel free to move.
And, I am a self-taught, low-end, home user of mostly Acrobat and PS, so please keep any assistance relatively simple.
Problem: "Adobe PDF Printer" in CS4 disappeared and issue not resolved after clean uninstall/cleanup/clean install of CS 5.5. Adobe TS (up to Tier2) no help thus far, although they are still working on it.

Under Windows 7 x64 I launch Adobe Photoshop CS3/v10.0.0 and then open Adobe Update Manager and always get the following error.
There are no updates available at this time,
Please note that some updates for the following productions cannot be determined at this time: Adobe Updater
I've never had this problem before with CS3 or Win7 x64, I lost my system drive, replaced with a new one, did a system restore of my personal files, installed CS3 and it refuses to update. I've downloaded the latest version of Adobe Update Manager from adobe's site and did a manual install, but this still did not fix the issue.
Any ideas would be greatly appreciated
Regards,
Yarrokon

Can someone help before I go completely insane,
I had Adobe Creative Suite 4 Web Premium installed on my Asus laptop, when I would try to update I would get that there was a problem and the 11 updates could not be installed, after spending about 4 hours a day for days I decided a clean install might help, THAT'S WHERE THE REAL PROBLEMS STARTED, I have now spent another 4 half days firstly with color profile rollback and had to spend hours changing permissions to delete color profiles, running Adobe Support Advisor, Windows fix's, Adobe clean up tool,
I have managed to get the programs installed again with one problem Flash additional components, when I run the support advisor i keep getting this Error"1310:Error writing to file:C\Config.Msi..."(I have done searches and manually searched)
and kb408730r2 Error 1310 unable to write to a file-Creative Suit 4, I can't find this file I'm sure it does not exist so don't bother suggesting to change permissions or rename it,
I can't understand why a program worth thousands of dollars has so many problems, I am so disgusted.................................
at the moment I have most of the programs reinstalled, there updates available but I can't install them,
Anti-virus turned off, tried hard wire instead of wireless,
I have spent hours deleting Adobe files and folders, upgraded from CS2-noCS2 clean tool
contacted customer service, could not even understand my problem.................................................................................. ..
Hi. We purchased CS6 Design Standard with 4 licenses. 3 of the installations are running without any problems. The 4th crashes a few times/day. It is always Illustrator.exe, specifically MSCVR100.dll that causes the problem. It's running on a Windows 7 x64 system with Avast AVS. After messing with security settings, scratch disks, etc I finally replaced the PC with a brand new one (same OS). We are still having the same problems. The detail from the windows event log is below. Since replacing the PC did not solve the problem I believe it must be either attached hardware, conflicting software or something the user is doing. The only things that distinguish this user from the others are:
Use of a Wacom tablet/touchpad
Use of dropbox (they often save directly to dropbox)
Any clues? I've been working on this for close to two weeks and cannot resolve. Thanks.

Is there anything I can do to start the Application Manager normally (e.g. to obtain product updates)?
I would like to know the function of the FLEXnet Licensing Service service in a windows 7 laptop where adobe creative suite CS3, original product, and / or free download as adobe reader or flash reader are installed. Going to the process associated to this service a iexplorer.exe *32 is highlighted. Sometimes flash reader does not work or crash inside applications in the web or pdf web site documents are not available to be open or they close suddenly.
Thanks in advance for any information you may provide
