I am about to start on a video archiving project, and need to install my old copy of OnLocation CS3 on a Windows 7, 64-bit machine. It's an older machine I keep around for things like this.
Unfortunately, Adobe's old activation servers have been shut down, so it's no longer possible to activate online or via the phone number.
It's possible to log in and obtain a new serial number and installer download, which includes all the apps EXCEPT for OnLocation CS3: Activation or connection error when starting CS3 or Acrobat 8
I've gone through Adobe support and they just keep pointing me to to that same page above, ignoring the fact that it excludes OnLocation. Sometimes they send me to this page which ends up the same as above when it's done: Resolve "temporary activation expired" error for CS3 and Acrobat 8

Anyone have any ideas, short of looking for some potentially dangerous hack to use the software I legitimately purchased?
