I have CS6 Web and Design Premium and CS4 Web premium on the same Windows 7 computer. To free up space, I would like to selectively uninstall the CS4 suite while leaving the CS6 suite unscathed. Is there going to be a problem with the performance or functionality of CS6 if I just uninstall CS4 via the normal program uninstall method in Windows 7? Do file associations become corrupted? Are there shared files that CS6 needs that will be uninstalled if I uninstall CS4. Are there any other issues I need to know about before uninstalling CS4?
If there are potential problems, then what is the recommended way to just uninstall CS4 and not affect the functionality of CS6?
