AD Virtual Disk? after CS4 install

On Vista Ultimate after installing CS4 (Custom install w/o version cue) My mapped drives are acting very strange causing other software that relies on mapped drives to cease operating. Adobe support was of no help, and had no idea of this problem prior. the mapped drives rename themselves to AD Virtual drive and they start replicating anytime they are searched. Unistalling CS4 fixed the problem but I would like to use the software. Any others with this problem? I found help on DLink forum so its not just me.
